Description

No. 56 Shepherd Market is a terrace house, likely built in the late 18th century. It features a stucco exterior and a slate roof, standing four storeys tall and two windows wide. The ground floor has a mid-20th century shop front. The windows above are recessed sash windows without glazing bars. The building has a parapet with coping. It is part of the Shepherd Market development, which was laid out around 1735 and constructed around 1746 by Edward Shepherd, who was responsible for building and designing on the Grosvenor and Cavendish Estates.
