TQ 2880 SE CITY OF WESTMINSTER SHEPHERD MARKET Wl 80/140 17-12-75 No 54 GV II Terrace house. c. 1746, altered. Stuccoed, slate roof. 3 storeys and dormered mansard, 2 windows wide. Mid C20 shop front to ground floor. Upper floors have altered recessed sash windows. Parapet with coping. Interior retains original staircase,dog-legged with turned balusters. Part of the Shepherd Market development, laid out c. 1735 and built c. 1746, the builder, designer and promoter being Edward Shepherd who built and designed on the Grosvenor and Cavendish Estates.
