Description

TQ 2880 SW CITY OF WESTMINSTER TILNEY STREET, Wl 79/38 6.2.81 No. 2 G.V. II Terraced house. c.1740 by Edward Shepherd with early to mid C.19 alterations. Stucco faced brick, slate roof. 4 storeys and basement. 3 windows wide. Entrance to right with recessed square headed doorway in architrave case, 6 panel door and fanlight. Recessed sash windows, no glazing bars, those on 1st and 2nd floors in canted bay, with crowning cornice, carried on probably c.1900 Corinthian columns. Plain windows to 3rd floor and parapet with coping. Cast iron area railings.
