Description
This is a terrace of houses, dating to around 1850, located on Hereford Road in Westminster. The terrace is constructed of stucco with slate mansard roofs. The end and central houses are set forward slightly and feature rusticated quoins. The buildings are three storeys high, with an attic-mansard and a basement. Each house is two windows wide, with the end houses featuring a projection containing a triplet of windows above the ground floor. The ground floor has channelling, while projecting Doric porches provide access. The front doors are panelled. A continuous bombé balcony runs along the first floor. Windows are square-headed and architraved above the ground floor, with cornicing to the first floor. Cast iron window guards are present on the second floor. The windows are primarily sash windows, mostly with plate glass, although first-floor windows are French casements. A bracketed cornice sits above the second floor. The projecting houses have a full attic storey.
