Description

This is a terrace of houses located on the west side of Hereford Road in Westminster, dating to around 1850 and subsequently altered. The terrace is constructed of stucco, with the end seven houses and the central five set forward slightly, distinguished by rusticated quoins. The building rises three storeys, with an attic and basement, and each house has a two-window frontage. The ground floor features channelling. Projecting Doric porches provide entrance access, and panelled doors are present. A continuous bombé balcony runs across the first floor. Windows are architraved above the ground floor and corniced to the first floor. Cast iron window guards are fitted to the second-floor windows. Sashes, largely plate glass, are fitted throughout. A bracketed cornice is positioned above the second floor.
