Description
Nos 17 to 20 Leinster Square is a terrace of houses built in 1857 by George Wyatt. The houses are constructed of stucco and feature slate mansard roofs on Nos 17 to 19. They rise four storeys above a basement and each house has three closely spaced windows. The terrace includes projecting Doric porches and a triplet of arched windows on the first floor, which are framed with an architrave and topped with a cornice. The second-floor windows are segmental headed, while the third-floor windows are round headed. All windows are sash with plate glass. A dentil cornice runs along the top, and there are cast iron area railings. This terrace is an integral part of the planned layout of Leinster Square.
