Description
A terrace of six houses located on the north side of Leinster Square, built in 1857 by George Wyatt. The houses are constructed of brick with stucco dressings and have slate mansard roofs. They present an almost symmetrical design, with four storeys and a basement. Each house has three windows, and numbers 1 and 5 are set forward slightly, distinguished by rusticated quoins. Number 6 originally featured a projecting Doric porch, but this detail was removed from the other houses in the terrace. The first floor windows are arched and set within stucco surrounds with cornices. Second floor windows have segmental heads, while those on the third floor are round-headed. A dentil cornice runs along the top of the facade. Cast iron area railings are present. The terrace is an integral part of the original planned layout of Leinster Square.
