Description

A pair of houses located on Garway Road in Westminster, dating to around 1840. The houses are built of stucco and have a low-hipped slate roof extending to the eaves. They are three storeys high with a basement. Each house is two windows wide. The original entrance to the left of each house remains, with No. 1 retaining a porch with dentil cornicing and a first-floor continuous balcony. The front doors are panelled. Segmental bow windows are present to the right side of each house, rising through the basement and ground floor levels. The windows are square-headed and have architraves; the first-floor windows have pediments and French casements, while the other windows are sash windows with some glazing bars.
