Description

The entrance gates to Kingswood House, located at the corner of Lyall Avenue, date from the late 19th century. They are decorative double wrought-iron gates, which are currently damaged, set between banded, rusticated stone main posts. The gates feature splayed wings on either side, which have semicircular-headed openings that once contained smaller iron gates. The structure includes a moulded cornice, although parts of it are missing.
