Description

This is a row of three early 19th-century houses and shops, which were resurfaced in the mid-19th century. The buildings are of painted stucco construction with a parapeted roof. They are arranged over three storeys and an attic. Numbers 123 and 125 have a three-window range, separated from number 127, which has a single, wider window range by a recessed joint. The sash windows have been rebuilt in a style appropriate to the original character, with margin lights on the first and second floors of number 127. The ground floor contains 20th-century shop fronts. The first-floor windows have cornices to their architraves, with the architrave detail repeated on the second and attic floor windows. A sill band runs along the second floor, and there is a cornice to the sills of the attic windows. Finally, a small cornice tops the parapet. The interior of the buildings has not been inspected.
