Description
No. 101 Borough High Street is a house that was later converted into a wine bar and is now used as offices. It dates from the early 18th century and is constructed of dark red brick with stone dressings. The building features a slate mansard roof and has three storeys plus an attic, with a three-window range. There is a moulded brick entablature beneath a later rendered blocking course, and the building includes 20th-century dormers. The early 19th-century sash windows have gauged segmental brick arches with triple keystones and delicate glazing bars. The ground floor has a 20th-century office front. Inside, there are good staircases.
