Description

This is a row of early 19th-century buildings, Nos. 4-7, Stone Street, and Nos. 1-3, Stone Street, rendered in stucco. They are three storeys high and originally had five windows each. The central window in each row is blocked, and the window to the right of the centre is a later 19th-century canted oriel. The other windows are sash windows with glazing bars, some of which have been restored. The window at the extreme right of the facade retains a moulded architrave, cornice, and sill band. The buildings feature plain pilasters, a moulded eaves cornice, and a parapet. Modern shop fronts have been installed. Nos. 1 to 3 form a group of buildings with Nos. 214 to 216, High Street.
