Description
No. 2 Jews Walk is a villa built in the second quarter of the 19th century. It is two storeys high and features three windows, constructed from yellow stock brick. The building has a fairly low pitched, hipped slate roof with bracketed eaves soffit and a thin, moulded cornice underneath. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are adorned with moulded stucco architraves. The ground floor windows are enhanced with a frieze, cornice, and bracketed cills, while the outer windows are set in slightly projecting sections. The villa also includes a prostyle Ionic porch supported by fluted columns, complete with an entablature and blocking course. The original six-panel door has been replaced, and there is a rectangular fanlight above it.
