Description
Farnboro House is an early to mid-19th century villa located on the south-west side of Kirkdale. The building has two storeys and features three windows. It is constructed of stucco and includes a frieze, cornice, and blocking course. The roof is a concealed double-span with a moderately low pitch. There is a band at the first floor level and plain reveals around the replaced sash windows. On the ground floor to the left, there is a deep round bow with three sash windows. The entrance is marked by a prostyle Doric porch with fluted columns and a mutule cornice, leading to a half-glazed double door with a rectangular fanlight. Additionally, there is a late 19th-century glazed porch on the right return facing Wells Park Road.
