Description
98 to 110 Brixton Road is an early 19th-century terrace of houses, each featuring three storeys and a basement. Most houses have two windows, but Nos 100 and 102 share a lower entrance link with one wide bay, while No 110 has an added one-storey entrance bay. The terrace is constructed of stock brick with a stucco basement, a cill band on the first floor, a frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course. The sash windows, some with glazing bars, are set under gauged brick arches, with round-headed windows in round-arched recesses on the ground floor. Nos 102 to 108 have a stuccoed impost string. No 110 features a banded stucco ground floor with square-headed windows and a projecting stuccoed porch. The other houses typically have six-panel doors with engaged fluted columns, a cornice head, and plain fanlights. Nos 100 and 102 share a wider reconstructed entrance that uses the original columns.
