Description
No. 147 on Brixton Road is an early 19th-century small villa that stands two storeys high and features three windows. The building is constructed of stock brick and has a low-pitched hipped slate roof with end chimneys and an eaves soffit. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are adorned with gauged brick arches and stone cills. The ground floor windows are set in round-arched recesses with stone impost blocks. The central entrance boasts a six-panel door flanked by fluted quadrant pilasters, topped with a cornice head and a plain fanlight, all within a similar recess.
