Description
No. 206 on Brixton Road is an early to mid-19th century house that stands three storeys tall with a basement and features two windows. A modern two-storey bay has been added to the right side, designed to match the original style. The building is constructed of stock brick and has a stucco cornice and blocking course, with rounded and rebated corners on the original section. The sash windows, which have glazing bars, are topped with gauged flat brick arches and stone cills, with the ground floor windows set in segment-headed recesses. There are decorative wrought-iron balconies on the first floor. The house is deep and has a fall height bow at the rear, and it has been converted into four flats.
