Description
Nos 91 and 93 on Brixton Road, built in the early 19th century, form a pair of three-storey buildings with a basement. Each building has two windows in the main block, with a two-storey set-back entrance bay on the left and a one-storey set-back entrance link on the right. They are constructed of stock brick and feature a rendered parapet, although the cornice is missing. There is a stucco band at the second floor, and the basement and ground floor have rustications that create voussoirs for the round arches of the doors and windows. The sash windows have glazing bars and are topped with gauged flat brick arches on the upper floors, with long windows on the first floor. The ground floor recesses have radial glazing in their round heads, and No 93 includes cast iron guards. Both doors have six fancy panels, with No 91 featuring a patterned fanlight.
