Description

Nos 32, 34, and 36 Stockwell Park Road are three early to mid-19th century villas, each two stories high with a basement and three windows. They are constructed of stucco with incised lines. Number 32 features angle pilasters, a frieze, a cornice, and a blocking course. The villas have low-pitched hipped roofs covered with slates and eaves soffits. Number 32 has sash windows with glazing bars, with the ground floor windows set in moulded architraves that include a frieze and cornice. There are five steps leading to a six-panel door surrounded by a reeded architrave and a modified entablature. Number 34 has modern casement windows in similar surrounds with incised panels below, and a door consisting of one, two, and one panel in a similar surround. Number 36 features sash windows with glazing bars on the first floor, all set in moulded architraves with cornices and panels below on the ground floor. There is a similar design for the four-panel door, which is accessed by seven steps with a wrought iron handrail.
