Description

The monument to Maria M Thompson, located in Kensal Green Cemetery, is a sarcophagus made of Portland stone, commemorating her death in 1859. It was created by J Browne, who signed the work. The monument features angle pilasters with a Doric frieze, hatchments adorned with palms at each end, a pedimental cover embellished with scrolls, and acanthus decoration in the tympana. Additionally, the monument honors Frederick Orlando Thompson Delmar, who died in 1895.
