Description

The Tomb of Mary, Lady Montgomerie, who died in 1848, is located in Kensal Green Cemetery. It features a large sarcophagus made of Carrara marble, resting on a base of grey granite. The tomb is adorned with a frieze that includes paterae and fleurs de lys, situated beneath a dentil cornice. It is topped with a shallow pedimental cover that has acroteria.
