Semi-detached houses. 1841-3. Developed by C.H.Hill. Yellow brick, stucco and roof of slate. Two storeys above basement, no 33 with dormer in attic, each house two bays wide, the porch in a two-storey bay set back at the side. Basement stuccoed. Ground floor with two round-arched windows with gauged brick heads, stucco keystone, and original radiating glazing bars to no 31. Stucco band between floors. Flat-arched windows to first floor with sashes of original design. Steps up to single-storey porch with cast-iron railings to one side, architrave, and overlight; the rear of the porch rebuilt to two storeys on both houses. Enclosed eaves; stacks to party wall; hipped roof, dormer to no 33. Ground floor C20 extension to the side of no 33.
