GV II

Semi-detached houses. 1841-3. Developed by C.H.Hill. Yellow brick with dressings of stucco, roof of Welsh slate to no 35 and asbestos slate to no 37. Two storeys over basement with dormers in attics, two windows each. Steps up to side entrances with stuccoed balustrades of open strapwork; no 35 has simple stucco architrave with cornice on consoles, no 37 has simple pilasters and entablature. Basement stuccoed. Ground floor has round-arched windows with gauged brick heads and stucco keystones; stucco storey band; first-floor windows flat-arched with sashes of original design; boxed eaves; hipped roof with dormers; stacks to party wall.
