Description
Nos. 59-61 on Canonbury Road are terraced houses built in the early 19th century. They are constructed of yellow brick laid in Flemish bond, with a roof that is obscured by a parapet. The buildings rise three storeys and feature two windows on each floor. The round-arched entrance has gauged brick heads, a plain doorcase, and a fanlight with original glazing on no. 61. The panelled doors are of original design. The ground-floor windows are round-arched with gauged brick heads, and they have sashes with radiating glazing bars and margin lights. The first- and second-floor windows are flat-arched, also with gauged brick heads, and feature sashes of original design. The parapet completes the overall appearance of the buildings.
