Description
Number 70 and 72 are terraced houses located on Canonbury Road, dating from the early 19th century. They are constructed of yellow brick laid in Flemish bond, with a roof that is obscured by a parapet. The buildings rise three storeys above a basement and feature two windows on each floor. There are steps leading up to a round-arched entrance, which has gauged brick heads, fluted pilaster-jambs, a cornice, a fanlight, and a panelled door that retains its original design. The windows on the ground floor, first floor, and second floor are topped with cambered arches made of gauged brick. The parapet is present, and there are possible remains of original railings at the steps for both houses.
