Description

The watch-house, located on the north side of the road and the south side of the New River, dates from the late 17th century. It is constructed of red-brown brick set in header bond and features a clay tile roof. This circular, single-storey building has a door on the north-west side and windows on the south-west and north-east sides. The rafters are exposed at the eaves, and it is topped with a conical roof that has a stone ball finial.
