Description
Numbers 10 and 12 are semi-detached houses built around 1850, likely developed and designed by James Wagstaffe. They are constructed of yellow brick in Flemish bond, with stucco dressings and a slate roof. The houses are two storeys high over a basement, featuring dormers in the attic and two windows each. The basement is stuccoed and scored to resemble ashlar. There are steps leading up to the entrance, which is located in a single-storey porch set back to the side. The entrance has a flat arch, pilasters, an overlight, and a panelled door of original design, along with an entablature and blocking course. The ground- and first-floor windows are flat-arched with stucco architraves, and the first-floor windows have a cornice on consoles. A brick string course runs below the boxed eaves, and each house has one full dormer with a segmental-arch window and gable. There are stacks on the party wall and cast-iron railings enclosing the area.
