Description
Nos. 529-535 on Liverpool Road are terraced houses built in the late 18th century. They are constructed from yellow and brown brick with stucco, and their roofs are hidden behind a parapet. The buildings rise three storeys above a basement, featuring a two-window range. The basement is stuccoed and only slightly below street level, with steps leading up to a flat-arched entrance that has a plain stucco architrave and cornice supported by consoles. All windows are flat-arched with gauged brick heads. The ground floor windows of nos. 529-533 consist of one tripartite window, while no. 535 has two separate windows. The parapet shows significant rebuilding at this level, and there are stacks at the party walls.
