Description
No. 537 is a terraced house located on Liverpool Road, dating from the mid- to late-18th century. It is constructed of brown brick with red brick dressings, and the roof is obscured by a parapet. The house has three storeys above a basement and features a two-window range. There are steps leading up to a round-arched entrance that has panelled reveals, a fanlight with decorative glazing, and a doorcase with pilasters supporting an open pediment. The ground and first-floor windows are flat-arched with heads made of gauged red brick, while the second-floor windows have cambered arches. The building has a parapet and chimney stacks located on the party walls.
