Description
No. 18 Ripplevale Grove is a detached house built between 1839 and 1841. It is constructed of yellow brick laid in Flemish bond and has a slate roof. The house has two storeys and features a three-window range with a double-fronted design. The entrance is round-arched and flanked by Roman Doric columns, topped with a cornice and a fanlight that has decorative glazing, leading to a panelled door that retains its original design. The ground-floor window is round-arched, while the first-floor window is flat-arched, both with heads made of gauged brick. There is a stucco sill band and window guards on the first-floor windows, and all windows are sashes of original design. The roof is hipped, and there are side stacks.
