Description

This is an early 19th century stock brick terrace, located on Queensbridge Road, with one house missing from the south end. The terrace comprises 11 houses, numbered 364 to 372. Each house is three storeys high and originally had a blocked basement. They each feature one window in the main block and a narrower entrance linking bay, which also has one window. The main blocks have stuccoed side pilasters, a frieze, and a cornice, with the frieze extending to form the parapet of the linking sections. A continuous cill band runs across the 1st floor, connecting with the cornice of the paired doorways in the linking bays. Round arched recesses on the 1st floor are filled with windows, each having arched heads and glazing bars, set within gauged flat brick arches. Rusticated stucco surrounds the ground floor openings, and the windows are protected by cast iron window guards. The doorways now have modern doors with rectangular fanlights. Nos. 364 to 380 form a cohesive group.
