Description

No. 64 Forest Road is a 2-storey, 2-window building from the early to mid-19th century. It is constructed of stock brick and features a tall parapet front, although it has lost its stuccoed frieze and blocking course. The windows have gauged brick flat arches, but they have been modernised; the ground floor window is set in a round-arched recess. The door, which is now flush with the wall, is adorned with fluted quadrant pilasters, a cornice head, and a fanlight beneath a round gauged brick arch. This building is included for its group value with Nos. 62 to 70, which together create a cohesive architectural context, along with the wall in front of the left part of No. 62.
