Description

Elizabeth House is an early 19th-century house with two storeys and a basement, featuring two windows. The exterior is finished with stucco, including a cornice and blocking course, a cill band at the first floor, and gauged brick arches above the sash windows, which have glazing bars. The ground floor windows are round-headed and set within round-arched recesses. Access to the house is via four stone steps with a cast-iron rail, leading to a wide four-panel door framed by Doric columns that support a cornice head. Above the door, there is a wide fanlight under an elliptical gauged brick arch. Elizabeth House is part of a group of buildings at numbers 13 (odd).
