Description

This is a row of four early to mid-19th century terraced houses located on Queensbridge Road. Each house is two storeys high with a basement, and features two windows in the main block and one in a narrower, set-back entrance link. The houses are constructed of stock brick with slate roofs. Nos. 318-324 have mansard roofs with dormers; however, these roofs have low pitched gable ends facing the road, originally with pediment details, but now with plain stucco bands defining the mouldings. The sash windows, which retain glazing bars, are set in stucco reveals and are topped by gauged brick arches. The ground-floor windows have round-headed arches set in recesses resting on a band above stuccoed basements. The houses have been converted into flats and now have modern doors set within wide wooden frames. No. 330 has a patterned fanlight above its doorway. These houses contribute to the group value of the street.
