Description
No. 84 Highgate West Hill is a house that has been converted into a Youth Hostels Association (YHA) hostel. It dates from the late 18th century and was built on the site of two earlier houses. The building was converted into a single residence in 1824, with later alterations made. It is constructed of multi-coloured stock brick and has three storeys with five windows, although the central window is blind. The ground floor projects and features a round-arched entrance with a panelled door. The windows have gauged reddened brick flat arches and mostly recessed sashes, some of which have been altered. The building has a parapet. The interiors have not been inspected.
