Description
The four carved sculptures surrounding the pond in the Italianate Garden at No. 41 Witanhurst were created around 1913, likely by Harold Peto as part of his garden design for Sir Arthur Crosfield. Made of stone, each sculpture stands on a rectangular plinth with moulded cornices. The figures depict two males and two females, each holding attributes that may symbolize the four seasons.
