Description
The fountain and pond in the Italianate garden at Number 41 Witanhurst is an ornamental feature dating from around 1913, likely designed by Harold Peto as part of his garden design for Sir Arthur Crosfield. The fountain is set in a circular pond, which is lined with blue mosaic tesserae. The central fountain consists of an enriched cushioned column that supports an undulating shell basin, making it a prominent element in the garden.
