Description

No. 12 Elvet Bridge is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick, featuring three courses of brick and one course of header, with painted ashlar dressings, and has a Welsh slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and has one bay. The ground floor has been altered, while the upper floors showcase plain wide sash windows with projecting stone sills. These windows are set beneath a stone-keyed flat brick arch on the first floor and a wedge stone lintel on the second floor. A brick chimney at the right end has been raised with new brick.
