Description

No. 24 Elvet Bridge is a house that has been converted into a shop, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick with painted ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The building stands three storeys high and consists of one bay. The shopfront has been renewed and includes a bracketed fascia. The upper floors are fitted with sash windows that have glazing bars, although the first-floor windows have been renewed. These windows are topped with flat brick arches and have projecting stone sills. There is also a renewed brick chimney at the left end of the building.
