Description

No. 25 Elvet Bridge is a house that has been converted into a restaurant, dating from the late 18th century. It is constructed of English garden wall bond brick with painted ashlar dressings and features a Welsh slate roof. The building has three storeys and two bays. The ground floor has a 20th-century shop front, while the upper floors contain sash windows with glazing bars set beneath flat brick arches. The second floor has projecting stone sills, although the sills on the first floor are obscured by window boxes at the time of the survey. There is a brick chimney at the right end of the building and two small roof lights.
