Description

No. 6 Bigg Market is a house that has been converted into a restaurant. It dates from the mid to late 18th century and features incised render on its exterior. The roof is made of Welsh slate and has a brick chimney. The building stands three storeys high and has three bays. The door on the left side and the ground floor have been renewed. The upper floors have quoins, and the plain sash windows are topped with wedge stone lintels that are carved to imitate alternately-raised voussoirs. The second floor has projecting stone sills, and there is a chimney at the right end of the building. This property is included for its group value.
