Description
Villas on the Heath, numbers 1 and 2, are a pair of semi-detached villas built around 1863. They are constructed of stucco and feature tiled roofs with projecting eaves that have carved bargeboards on the gabled front elevations. Designed in the Gothic style, the villas rise to three storeys with attics, each having one window. The doorways are recessed and pointed arch-shaped, complete with hoodmoulds, fanlights, and panelled doors, with number 1 having a partially glazed door. The windows are recessed casements with hoodmoulds; the ground floor and second floor each have two lights, the first floor has three lights, and the attics feature a single light that is paired with the neighbouring house by the hoodmould. The interiors have not been inspected.
