Description

Two detached villas, dating from around 1830, are constructed of stucco and have slated pitched roofs with projecting eaves. The gables feature carved bargeboards and tall stuccoed chimney stacks; number 3 has a distinctive twisted chimney in a Tudor style. The buildings are two storeys high, each with two windows. They are designed in a Gothick style. Number 2 has a doorway on a return wall, and number 3 has a doorway within a glazed lobby. Both villas feature projecting gabled bays with canted bay windows and penthouse roofs on the ground floors. The upper floors have square-headed windows with splayed soffits and dripmoulds. Blind lancet windows are incorporated into the gables. The interiors have not been inspected.
