Description
Nos. 6 and 8 Greenland Road are two terraced houses that were originally built with contemporary shopfronts in the mid-19th century. They were restored around 1976 as part of a Greater London Council renovation scheme. The houses are constructed of yellow stock brick with rusticated stucco ground floors and rise to three storeys, each featuring two windows. The doorways are square-headed and include fanlights above, with 20th-century doors. The windows are recessed sashes, and the ground floor has replaced the original shopfronts, although consoles from the shopfronts remain on No. 8. The upper floors have architraved four-pane windows. No. 8 has a stucco cornice and blocking course, while No. 6 features a stucco parapet with a cornice that has been cut back. The interiors have not been inspected.
