Description
This is an early 19th century terraced house and former shop, now the Neighbourhood Advice Centre. It occupies a corner site on Greenland Road. The building is constructed of yellow stock brick with a stucco ground floor and a plain stucco first-floor band. It is three storeys high, with one window facing Greenland Road and two windows on the return facade to Carol Street. The corner features a wooden double shopfront with a 20th-century part-glazed entrance and fanlight. The windows are projecting with large panes, topped by a boxed-out entablature with a projecting cornice. A segmental-arched sash window is located to the left of the shop window on the Carol Street facade. The upper floors contain recessed sash windows with gauged brick flat arches, although the Greenland Road facade has 20th-century casements. There is a parapet at the roofline. The interior has not been inspected.
