Description

26-30 High Street is a row of three cottages from the 18th century, with later 19th-century fronts. Nos. 26 and 28 are single-fronted, while No. 30 is double fronted. The cottages are two storeys high and have a timber frame with roughcast fronts, and the south end and rear are plastered. The roof is hipped at the south end and gabled on the north, covered with black glazed pantiles. There are two internal red brick chimney stacks. The row features a four-window range, with small-paned canted bays on the ground floor and two-light casements above. No. 30 has been recently restored.
