Description

No. 24 High Street is an early 19th-century cottage that stands two storeys tall. It has a timber-framed structure with a roughcast front and plastered sides, topped by a gabled roof covered in black glazed pantiles. The cottage features a two-window range with 2-light casements that have rounded Gothic heads and leaded panes. There is a plain central recessed doorway with a plank door. A tall central chimney-stack made of red brick rises from the roof. At the rear, there is an outshut with a catslide roof. This building is included for its group value.
