A C16 house, divided in the early C19 into 2 dwellings. 2 storeys and attics. Timber-framed, roughcast and plastered in panels, jettied along street frontage. Plaintiled roof. Internal chimney-stack with attached shafts set diamond-wise. 3 window range: 3-light casements with early C19 ornamental leaded panes. On left, one shop window with bull'seye glass along the top. 2 identical 6-panel doors with raised fielded panels: plain rectangular frames. 2-storey extension along rear. Good interior to No. 22: moulded joists and carved fireplace lintel.
