Description
Nos. 45, 47, and 51 Brook Street are a row of three cottages, likely built in the 18th century with some later alterations. The cottages are timber framed and plastered, with the right bay finished in painted brick. They feature a red plain tiled roof and have end and central red brick chimney stacks. The buildings are two storeys high and have a total of five windows, which are 19th-century two-light casements with glazing bars. There are four windows on the ground floor, along with a garage door to the right. The left side has paired vertically boarded doors for Nos. 45 and 47, which have simple surrounds and a pentice board above. To the right, No. 51 has a 20th-century enclosed porch with a glazed door and sidelights.
