Description
Number 20 is a house located slightly back from the road in Bury St Edmunds, dating from the early 19th century. It is constructed of knapped flint with white brick dressings and features a hipped slate roof with two plain white brick chimney stacks at the ridge. The building has two storeys and a three-window range, with small-paned sash windows set in flush cased frames. The central entrance consists of a six-panel door within plain reveals, topped by a semicircular fanlight with ornamental glazing. Although the interior has not been inspected, the property is complemented by low cast-iron railings and a matching gate at the front, which features ornate pierced heads on the balusters.
